各位尊貴的宗親、各位讀者，大家好！不經不覺，二○二三年又快要過去了。
鑑於這幾年全球新冠肺炎的疫情關係，世界余氏第八屆懇親大會，全美余風采堂第二十七屆懇親大會及全加余風采堂第十八屆懇親大會的安排一直受到拖延舉辦。
世衛總幹事曾表示“新冠病毒將繼續存在，世界仍然需要預防、檢測和治療新冠的工具。”
展望來年，我們希望隨著疫苗的普及，新冠肺炎在全球得到廣泛控制，社會各界生活恢復正常。而各地承辦的余氏懇親大會的會所能順利進行。

分局於六月廿八日（星期三）為市警華裔最高指揮官余振源二星助理總警司，舉行了隆重的
榮休典禮。
代表紐約余風釆堂及余氏宗親到現埸祝賀包括：余逸春（余振源侄女）、余宏基元老、余長安主席及余鋼深總顧問，並致送了「余族之光」紀念牌予余振源警司。
紐約市警（余振源二星警司榮休之後）現任華裔最高官階吳銘恒一星警司，都到埸祝賀，並與余氏宗親合照留念。
紐英崙余風采堂 夏日郊遊樂
波士頓/紐英崙余風采堂夏季郊遊於七月廿二日（星期六）在納提克巿
Natick 的 AmVets Post 79
退伍軍人會所熱烈舉行。大約一百三十名堂員、宗親和朋友參加。
紐英崙余風采堂多年以來堅持舉辦夏日郊遊盛會，為本堂昆仲提供了交流與聯誼的機會，
使得一年一度的郊遊會成為了余風采堂推動會務積極深入發展的品牌 活動。
今年的郊遊活動有許多遊戲和獎品，抽獎和食物都受到年輕人和老年人的喜愛。各類活動包括高爾夫遊戲和擲口袋遊戲、游泳和釣魚等，
為郊遊會增添了歡樂的氣氛，當日的天氣很好。
非常感謝余超群元老和余文博總長再次慷慨捐贈現金獎品。余寶愛主席也捐贈了很多非現金獎品。在此還特別感謝義工們的得力幫忙，能讓這次活動順利進行。
活動當中，參加本屆郊遊會的紐英崙余風采堂昆仲一起合影，以紀念本年度郊遊會圓滿成功舉辦。
休斯頓余風采堂夏日郊遊會暨頒發獎學金
休斯頓余風采堂於七月廿九日（星期六）在糖城紀念公園舉行該堂的夏日郊遊及頒發獎學金活動。
當日天氣比平時略涼，參加人數低於預期的人數。
今年共有四位優秀學生獲獎，包括余迅（
Remy Yu）, 余素安（
Sophie Yu） 余美蘭（
Kailee Yee） 和
Kyle Lew。
大家對於大會所提供的郊遊午餐,特別是讓人留下深刻印象,鮮美多汁,真可謂齒頰留香,一試難忘,
濃香可口的「燒臘」，大家在吃得盡情,玩得開心的愉悅中,一起渡過了一個愉快的下午！
南加省余風采堂舉行雙親節暨頒發獎學金晚會
南加省余氏宗親會一年一度對雙親養育之感恩晚會已於七月二十九日（星期六）舉辦。
余氏宗親下午五時半扶老攜幼來到聖蓋博市「上流食府」
參加這意義活動，當晚有多個家庭一家幾代同堂高高興興齊來到參加。嘉賓人數超過一百四十多人。
年長者更高興能與兒孫聚在一堂共享天倫之樂。 其中有六位九十多歲長者到場參與。
晚宴由兩位尊業司儀余苗壯及余秀敏姑擔任。
余以信元老帶着一家大少來慶祝父母養育之恩頒發獎學金活動。余頌堯顧問也帶了一家人來慶祝。
同時因受疫情影響導致總堂樓業收益減少，有三年未能如常發獎學金給各分堂。本堂為了繼續鼓勵堂所會員之在學子女努力問學，余頌堯顧問領先發起捐增獎學金。
大家也立即熱烈響應這善舉。即時獲得余經漢顧問，余苗壯顧問，余施橋顧問，余超強主
席，余江峯副主席，余妙玲姑，
余翠媚姑，余寶愛姑，余英宗宗長，余以信元老，余國恩總長等支持共籌得四千七百多元。本堂鳴謝以上各位熱心贊助人。
更高興見到學生努力向學有二十五個成績優良學生得各位贊助人頒發的獎學金。
晚會當晚之攝影師是司徒余惠華姑的兒子俱專業水準拍攝，多謝他的義務幫助為每家人拍合照留下美好回憶。余以信嫂有所有照片的底片，
可隨時索取。最後要多謝各位的參與及互助才令到晚會圓滿結束。
積彩余風采堂年度夏季郊遊和獎學金活動
積彩余風采堂一年一度的夏季野餐和獎學金活動於八月六日（星期日）在密歇根州雷德福的漢迪公園舉行。
當日天氣初時多雲有雨，但天公作美，最終太陽出來了。
有超過九十五名堂員及朋友出席,並享用美味的自助午餐，餐點包括有，牛肉炒粉、海鮮米粉、香橙雞及蜂蜜核桃蝦。
此外，還有 Popeye’s 「大力水手」炸雞，
Little Caesar’s
「小凱撒」比薩餅，當天的亮點，是一輛流動的冰淇淋車，品種眾多，包括受歡迎的
Good Humor
「好幽默牌」冰淇淋。各人享受了在炎熱夏天吃冰淇淋的樂趣。
餐後，與會者參加了各種遊戲活動，節目包括麻將比賽，寫書法，接力賽跑，T-
恤交換，保鮮膜 跳戰賽，擲環，抽獎，擲水氣球和「危險邊緣」遊戲競賽等等。
但壓軸項目是頒發獎學金，給予被認可的六十一名，從年輕的學前班學生到大學研究生。這是美好的一天，
最後積彩余風采堂向所有參與這次活動及取得成功的義工和捐贈者表 示感謝。
加州二埠余風采堂歡迎美西總長余國恩蒞臨指導
美西總長余國恩於八月十六日（星期三）蒞臨二埠風采堂，指導本堂堂務並共進晚餐及拍照留念！
非常感謝總長百忙中抽空前來本堂探望我們是對我堂的最大支持。
市作頓余風采堂夏日郊遊樂
秋風送爽郊遊樂，市作頓余風采堂於八月二十日（星期日）在總堂領導的大力支援下，在余奕華主席的組織帶領下，
在全體職員的共同努力下，我們舉辦了一次別開生面的夏日郊遊活
動。郊遊地點：勝利公園。
公園環境優美，參天大樹鬱鬱蔥蔥，公園內綠草如茵，空氣清新，湖水清澈，噴水池水花飄溢，給人一種生氣勃勃的感覺。
確實是郊遊樂聚的好地方。公園環境優美，令人心曠神怡，還有適合 小孩玩樂的設施。
郊遊開始之前，提前到達的宗親們邊聊天邊欣賞音樂。加上天公作美，每天都陽光猛烈，天氣炎熱。
唯獨今天太陽不露臉，讓我們在和風陰涼的參天大樹底下搞活動，舒
適開心極了。大家聊鄉情，聊工作，聊生活瑣事，不亦樂乎。
優美的歌聲給大家帶來快樂氣氛，難怪不少宗親都講今年的郊遊最高興、最熱鬧。
郊遊食物很多，種類很多，有余奕華主席親自下廚煮的炸雞，炒粉絲，炸煎堆;
還有外面店買的白糖糕、火肉和比薩餅、
還有宗親及好友帶來了各種美食拿手菜前來分享：瑤柱炒飯，蘿白牛腩，油糍，菱粉糕，糯米球，杯子蛋糕及生果，琳琅滿目。
開餐了。大家選擇自己喜歡的食物。品嘗多種食物，好味道，讚不絕口。大家吃得津津有味。
邊聽歌邊食餐，美美的味道，美美的感覺。食物多多，多添多食，心 滿意足。
餐後，市作頓余風采堂還舉行了抽獎活動，將大家的熱情推向了高潮。獲獎的幸運兒個個都笑逐顏開。
然後，宗親和朋友們在美麗的勝利公園拍攝了大合照留念。
最後，宗親們、朋友們懷著愉悅的心情互相握手道別，互祝平安健康，幸福快樂！
相約明年再會！
紐約余風采堂恢復頒發年度獎學金
在新冠疫情緩和之下，紐約余風采堂於八月二十日（星期日）下午一時在公所禮堂恢復辦理年度獎學金頒獎典禮。
當天余應昌顧問擔任司儀，致以誠摯的問候和
歡迎詞 開始了頒獎典禮儀式。
我們非常感謝紐約市議員馬泰（
Christopher Marte）
前來向出席者發表演講。出席典禮的還包括元老余宏基、總顧問余鋼深，紐約余風采堂顧問余應昌、余典榮、余棟榮、余錦韶、余耀威，主席余正安、
副主席余乾源等。眾人向得獎學生表示祝賀，並期望他們在各領域取 得成功。
今年我們共有三十三名表現優異的學生。包括「五堂會」特別獎六人、七名大學生，五名高中生，十一名初中生和四名小學生獲得獎學金。
特別大獎由余雅慧、余頌恩、余振鋒、余向瑩、余嘉欣及余家寶獲得，每人獲發「五堂會」五百元。此外還有七名大學生每人獲發一百五十元獎金、
五名高中生每人獲發一百元、十一名初中生和四名小學生每人獲發八 十元。
總顧問余鋼深介紹，獎 學金申請者父母至少一方須為余風采堂會員，欲獲大獎，需要大學 GPA 在 3.5 以上，或高中畢業時平均成績超過 88 分。
余鋼深表示，獎學金的頒發，除了鼓勵青年學子再接再厲爭取好成績以外，也希望能引導年輕族人不忘根本，積極回歸公所，投身社區服務事業。
余正安主席在致詞時繼續感謝大家的參與，並勉勵學生應繼續努力向學、充實自己，並成為有用之才。
美國二埠余風釆堂頒發敬老金和余族子弟獎學金
二埠余風采堂於八月廿七日（星期日）在本堂禮堂內頒發敬老金暨獎學金。場面溫馨熱鬧，大家幾年因疫情冇聚而走埋一起而高興！
午餐有炸雞和叉燒包招鄉親同時大家相約下月十六日中秋慶會再暢 聚！
這次有一百○五位七十五歲以上老人獲得敬老金，其中前主席國禧母親一百○九歲高壽證明我族是長壽之族希望大家長壽幸福。
獎學金有十六位學生獲得。是次一共頒發金額歷來最多共差不多一萬七千元！希望本堂堂務穩定發展以後明年超越今年，一年比一年超越！
二埠余風采堂秉持中華優良傳統，獎勵學生，關懷長者，並祝福學子再接再厲，爭取佳績，祝福長者長壽安康。
隨後，二埠余風采堂副總長余國堪，主席余鶴翔，余敬銓，
及全體得獎生及家長合照。年度獎學敬老聯歡午餐會在歡樂和諧的氣氛中圓滿結束。

Happy Retirement to Assistant Chief Gin Yuen Yee
Hundreds of New
York’s Finest, NYPD colleagues as well as retired
officers, friends, family members, politicians and
the New York Yee Fong Toy Association members
gathered outside the 121st Precinct in Staten
Island on Wednesday, June 28th afternoon to wish
Assistant Chief Gin Yuen Yee, a longtime NYPD
Officer and a Staten Island borough commander a
happy and healthy retirement, as he walked out of
the stationhouse in Graniteville for the last
time.
Grand Elder Frank Yee, Grand Advisor Gong Sum Yee, New York Yee Fong Toy Association President Jeung On Yu and Gin Yuen Yee's niece Betty Yee attended Assistant Chief Gin Yuen Yee's retirement ceremony.
The retirement celebration for Assistant Chief Gin Yee was amazing. There are very few Chinese who get to be elevated to rank of Chief in the NYPD. We all wish Assistant Chief Gin Yee all the best in retirement after 42 years with NYPD.
New England YFT Chapter’s Summer Outing 2023
The Boston/New
England chapter had their summer outing on
Saturday July 22 at AmVets Post 79 in Natick
again this year.
About 130
members and friends attended this annual
cookout. Lots of games and prizes, raffles,
and food were enjoyed by young and old alike.
Activities included swimming and fishing and
the weather was perfect.
Many thanks to
Elder Peter and Grand President Kenneth for
generously donating money again for all the
cash prizes. President Paula donated all the
non-cash prizes for the game winners.
Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this outing another successful one.

Toy Association of Houston annual summer
picnic and scholarship awards was held at the
Memorial Park of Sugar Land, TX on an early
Saturday morning, July 29th, 2023.
The weather was slightly cooler than usual and the turnout was lower than expected.
Yee Fung Toy Association of Houston proudly present this year's Scholarship recipients: Remy Yu, Sophie Yu, Kailee Yee and Kyle Lew.
Everyone was impressed with the Chinese BBQ "Siu Lap" lunch and had a wonderful time.
Southern California YFT Parents Day and Scholarship Awards
Southern
California YFT annual parent’s day celebration
banquet and scholarship award event was held
on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Golden Soup
Restaurant in San Gabriel city, to honor our
parents, to show our appreciations of their
love, support and sacrifices. We had more than
140 people in attendance.
Mandy Yu and John Yu were the emcees at the
banquet, there were scholarships given to
those member children of high academic
achievement.
We like to thank the following scholarship
sponsors: Patrick, Jing Han, John, Stanley,
Chao, Jiang Feng, Ellen, Alan, Tsui Mee,
Betty, Mandy, Alan, George, and Kenny. Total
donation $4,700.
Detroit Yee Fung Toy Family Association Summer Picnic and Scholarship Event
The day
started cloudy and rainy, but God blessed us
and the sun came out for our annual DYFTFA
Summer Picnic and Scholarship event on August
6, 2023 at Handy Park in Redford, Michigan.
Over 95 Yee members and friends enjoyed a
delicious buffet lunch of Beef Chow Fun,
Seafood Maifun, Orange Chicken and Honey
Walnut Shrimp. In addition we had Popeye’s
Fried Chicken, Little Caesar’s Pizza and the
highlight of the day, an Ice Cream Cart
consisting of Good Humor treats.
The attendees enjoyed a variety of games and activities consisting of a Mahjong Tournament, Calligraphy, Relay Races, T-shirt exchange, Saran Wrap Challenge, Ring Toss, raffle, Water Balloon Toss, and Chinese Jeopardy.
But the main event was the recognition and awarding of scholarships to 61 of our young students from pre-school to post graduate. It was a fantastic day and a big thank you to all the volunteers and donors who made this a successful event.

Sacramento YFT Welcomes Grand President Kenny Yee

Yee, wife Phillis and son Joshua visited our
Sacramento Yee Fung Toy Association.
Grand President Kenny: Thank you very much for
taking the time out of your busy schedule to
visit our Association, which is the greatest
support for our Association.
Stockton Yee Fung Toy Association Summer Picnic
Stockton Yee Fung Toy Association Summer Picnic was held on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at an idyllic picnic spot - Victory Park in Stockton.
This park has a beautiful environment, with towering trees, green grass, fresh air, clear lake water, and splashing pools, giving people a feeling of vitality. It is indeed a great place for outings. The park is beautiful and pleasant, with facilities for kids to play.
There are a lot of traditional picnic dishes for the outing, including fried chicken cooked by President Yihua Yu, fried vermicelli, and sesame balls. There are also white sugar sponge cakes, roast pork and pizza bought from outside shops, as well as food brought over by clan relatives and friends, such as dried scallop fried rice, Luo Bai beef brisket, fried dumpling, tapioca cake, glutinous rice balls, cupcakes and fruits.
After lunch, the Stockton Yee Fung Toy association held a lucky draw, which pushed everyone's enthusiasm to a climax. Congratulations to all the lucky winners. Then, clan relatives and friends took a group photo in the beautiful Victory Park.
Finally, the clansmen and friends shook hands with a happy mood and said goodbye, wishing each other a safe, healthy, and happiness! See everyone again next year!
New York Yee Fung Toy Association Resumed Scholarship Awards
The New York Yee Fong Toy Association resumed its annual scholarship award ceremony on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at 1PM. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic concerns we postponed many of our usual events. We are slowly making a comeback but for our family association the usual turnouts are not what we are accustomed to
This year we had 33 scholarship award recipients. We had 7 college students, 5 high school students, 11 junior high school students and 4 elementary school students getting monetary awards. In addition, we had 6 college students that qualified for the special $500 Five Tong Awards. They are Gloria Yu (余 雅慧), Isabel Yu (余頌 恩), Ivan Yu (余振鋒), Laura Yee (余向瑩), Deborah Yu (余嘉欣) and Sandy Yu (余家寶). Unfortunately, many college students either went back to school or took some time off and could not attend. Congratulations to all the students and their parents for a job well done and continued success.
Our emcee Advisor Andy (余應昌) started the ceremony with some greetings and welcome remarks. Also, this year we did not have a keynote speaker, so we were grateful to have NYC Council member Christopher Marte come by to address the attendees. Our President Jeung On (余長安) continue to thank everyone for participating and wish all the students continued success. He also echoed the message that youth participation is very important for our association, especially for next year’s 27th National Yee Convention. Although this event was short, we did get to chat and interact with each other, most of whom we had not seen for almost 3 years. So, this event did turn out to be a winner for everyone.
Sacramento YFT Honoring Senior Members and Scholarship Students
It's another beautiful day for the Sacramento YFT Chapter’s to honor our senior members and scholarship students on Sunday, August 27th.
At noon after paying homage to our ancestors, we start honoring our senior members and awarding scholarships and assistance tuition to the qualified students.
For lunch, we
all have fried chicken and char siu buns for
attendees, and inform everyone to meet again
on the 16th of next month to celebrate the
Mid-Autumn Festival.
